Arlene Knickerbocker


Arlene Knickerbocker's life verse is “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” (Colossians 3:23a).


Arlene worked in business most of her adult life, and much of her experience was in management and marketing. She also taught Bible studies for all ages. Now, she uses her acquired skills to write, edit, speak, and teach.

She writes nonfiction and creative nonfiction. More than 600 of her articles, devotions, poems, and short stories have been published in various venues. She has written 264 Bible study lessons by assignment. In addition, Arlene co-authored Circles of Blessing: Redemption in the Rain Forest and authored Open the Door to Another Realm.

Arlene has edited books for businesses and individuals who want to self-publish their material. She also helps individuals polish book proposals.

In 2009, she helped start a local Toastmasters club where she has served in various leadership positions. Arlene has earned advanced Toastmaster awards in communication and leadership. She is available to speak to businesses and women's groups. She often communicates about communication and encourages using encouraging words.

Arlene teaches classes through her website and through a local community enrichment program. She also tutors high school students and mentors young writers. She leads a local writers' group and attends two others.

She and her husband Jerry have three adult sons, two adult daughters, and nine grandchildren. Arlene enjoys investing time with family and friends.
